The switch to Graded
3 Friends that collect vintage Kenner / Palitoy Range Star Wars figures from the 70's & 80's
After years of frequenting Star Wars shops in the UK, various fairs and conventions we found an increasing amount of reproduction accessories creeping into our collections.
We decided to have our most prized figures graded, but the acrylic cases seemed a little lacking in grandeur.
Collectors Tins
We put our heads together and came up with a solution.
A Collectors Tin which some toys were supplied with in the 80's & 90's. With a cool holographic stickers and a mirrored back.
Custom fitting foam cut 1mm smaller than the acrylic case to hold it firm and snug.
And to top it all off, a Metal engraved nameplate in silver aluminium (or gold for a 90%)
Online Archiving
Each figure you buy has a QR Code on the rear of the tin that you can scan from any smartphone.
This will take you to a 360 video and images of your purchase.
We really liked this touch. It means you can show your friends the exact figure you own in high detail without having to remove it from your display.
